My Player of the Year

As it seems to be the season for choosing Players of the Year, I thought I'd have my 'five pennyworth". To me it's not really a fair contest as one player in particular has really stood out. Naturally I have considered only those players that have fallen under my far from critical gaze. I may be being unfair to 80% of the world's players but - well - it is my Player of the Year. The year, of course, we are considering is 2018. It would be a touch premature to chose the player for 2019.

 

 

 

 

 

And, of course, you now know who I've chosen. When I first saw this player some years ago in an ODI at Scarborough it was immediately apparent this girl was going to make an outstanding player
